Eco-Innovation Award (EIA): The EIA is intended to motivate and reward innovative projects that drive measurable environmental and business value KKR and KKR Capstone i Experts: Access to KKR and KKR Capstone i experts in corporate sustainability strategy and energy management, including a full-time energy expert i dedicated to our portfolio and summer Climate Corps fellows from Environmental Defense Fund to assist companies across our private equity, real estate, and energy and infrastructure asset classes with energy efficiency and management KKR Network: Networking with fellow portfolio company executives and best practice sharing via in-person conferences and/or informal networking Global and Regional Communications Platform: Support with reaching portfolio companies’ key audiences with customized media access and stories Regionally-Relevant Vendors and Consultants: References to known vendors or experts on relevant issues globally External Experts: Insight from KKR’s partners, which include thought leaders in corporate environmental and sustainability programs GSP Historic Results The Green Solutions Platform (GSP) seeks to drive business and environmental value by supporting and highlighting the work of KKR portfolio companies across a wide variety of focus areas. The GSP includes companies that enhance eco-efficiency, advance eco-innovation, and/or offer a solution to environmental problems as core to their business mandate. These 13 case studies, three from entirely new program participants, describe projects across four asset classes, including private equity, special situations, real estate, and infrastructure, as well as span a range of geographies and focus areas.
